Ryan is the General Manager of Pittsburgh Ice Arena and the President of the Pittsburgh Huskies. He is an innovative hockey professional with over 40 years combined coaching and playing experience. Ryan played college hockey at Penn State University while earning a degree in Recreation Management. After graduation he turned to professional hockey working with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Hockey Operations department and their minor league affiliate the Wheeling Nailers as an Assistant Coach and Assistant Director of Hockey Operations for 4 years. From there, Ryan coached youth hockey in Pittsburgh as the Hockey Director at the Airport Ice Arena and Head Coach of Sewickley Academy. He was then named the Hockey Director at Penn State University opening the Pegula Ice Arena, and worked in that position for 8 years. He has served as the State Vice President for the Mid-American District of USA Hockey as well as an evaluator and coach for district select camps. Ryan specializes in developing programs and players. In his many years of experience, he has developed players who moved on to college, junior, and the professional ranks.

Barrett is the Assistant General Manager and Hockey Director here at Pittsburgh Ice Arena. Barrett's love of the game started at an early age though he was not allowed to play due to the risk of injury as an Artist. A master cellist at the age of 7, Barrett studied at Carnegie Mellon University before deciding to work with at-risk youth with a focus on Community development, Life skills, Business management. Barrett then continued to develop his business skills with business Banking in order to pursue the job of being a General Manager of a Hockey team. Barrett's coaching career with hockey began when he studied under the tutelage of Howard Smith and "Hockey in the Hood". Barrett realized that the best part of hockey is team development, community, and building the team aesthetic. Being a GM is the driving force behind his love of hockey.
